2021年日本政府の成長戦略実行計画において宇宙は重点領域であることが明記されました。また、様々な業種の大手企業やスタートアップ企業による宇宙業界参入も加速するなど、宇宙業界は様々な可能性に溢れており、今後成長が期待されています。他方、業界規模の観点では宇宙業界は自動車や通信などの他産業と比較すると未だニッチな業界です。官民のリーダーとともに宇宙業界の可能性と課題を議論していきます。
In 2021, the Japanese government announced that the space sector is a key priority in its national growth strategy. In addition, recently there has been an uptick in the number of large corporations and startups joining the space industry. The space sector is full of opportunity and is expected to see promising growth in the coming years. However, in terms of market size, the space sector is still considered to be nascent when compared with others. With both public and private sector leaders, we will be discussing the opportunities and challenges of the space industry.
