東京工業大学機械物理機械宇宙学科修了。1996年トヨタ自動車に入社。シャシーの制御開発に従事。制御サスペンション、ブレーキ制御等を先行開発から製品開発まで担当。途中、商品企画や中長期戦略を立案する部署を経て、2019年より先進技術開発カンパニー所属。翌年よりExecutive Vice President着任。社会課題解決に向けた事業・開発の推進や、ルナクルーザーなど将来に向けたクルマの立案及びそれらを支える新技術の開発に従事。2020年には宇宙利用の現在と未来に関する懇談会やSpace Biz for SDGsなどに参加。

Graduated from Master of Mechanical Physics and Space, at the Tokyo Institute of Technology. Joined Toyota Motor Corporation in 1996, and mainly have been developing chassis control system such as suspension and braking system. In addition, involved in product planning and long term corporate strategy for 3 years. Currently, he is EVP of Advanced R&D and Engineering Company, Toyota Motor Corporation. He has been engaged in promoting business and development to solve social issues, planning future vehicles such as Lunar Cruiser, and developing new technologies to support them.In 2020, he participated in a roundtable on the present and future of space applications and Space Biz for SDGs.
