1982年生まれ、高校まで埼玉県で育つ。語学留学を経てオーストラリアのウーロンゴン大学にて理学部に入学、地球科学専攻で学士を取得。その後、名古屋大学にて環境学の修士と博士課程を修了。2008年からプラント機器メーカー会社員、大学研究員として水力装置の研究開発行いながら、タンザニアやカンボジアの地域電化のプロジェクトに参画してきた。2020年に株式会社TOWINGの技術開発責任者に就任し、同社の栽培環境制御装置の開発・設計を担ってきた。

Teppei Okamura was born in 1982 and grown in Saitama region in Japan. After doing language study in English speaking countries for a while, he entered Wollongong university in Australia and finished Bachelor of Science in Geosciences. Then he came back to Japan and got Master and Doctor degree in Environmental studies at Nagoya University. Since 2008, he had been studying and developing hydro power systems, and had joined some rural electrifying projects in Tanzania and Cambodia as a designer at plant equipment company, and also a researcher at Nagoya University and Kyoto University. Teppei Okamura joined TOWING Ltd. In 2020 as a chief development officer and have been developing and designing cultivation environment control devices.
