Sangwoo Shin is a senior researcher of the Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI), Korea. He has experience in space policy formulation and multilateral space diplomacy. His research gravitates around the innovation policy. His contributions include fresh evidence on the allocation of public support to space ecosystems, and the impact of public policy on innovation in different countries over time. In addition, he is involved in multilateral cooperation such as NCOPUOS and OECD space forum. He hold a PhD from the Science Policy Research Unit (SPRU) at University of Sussex. In the past, he worked for the Gyeonggi Research Institute (GRI). He is currently working at the newly established Korea Space Policy Research Center (SPREC).
