Kimito Yoshikawa is Senior Chief Engineer, Space Systems Division at Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, LTD.(MHI). Since he joined MHI in 1987, he has participated in various R&D projects such as H-II/H-IIA Launch Vehicles, HTV (H-II Transfer Vehicle for ISS) and defense programs, and taken a great role as an expert especially for rocket engines and propulsion components. Currently, as Vice president and Senior Chief Engineer, he is supervising all over the engineering, manufacturing and business development of space systems. And he also has the responsibilities for management of the entire factory as Head of Nagoya Guidance & Propulsion Systems Works. He earned a master’s degree in Aeronautics from the University of Tokyo.
